Isiphuku Kungutshani (The Grass is the Blanket)

People of the Mabandla community are developing a vision for the sustainable use of their traditional lands: there are cattle, timber plantations, pristine grasslands and indigenous forests. The Chief’s son, Zweli Baleni is trying to fulfill his grandfathers’ dream to create a nature reserve with traditional land together with the help of retired nature conservationists.
