This film tells the story of Samuel Japane, a self-taught bird specialist. At the age of 46 while working as a security guard, he had a dream that he should learn about birds and his life would change. Today, Samuel is one of the most renowned bird specialists in the Kruger National Park, South Africa.

The film looks at forced removals to make way for the big five game reserves and how some communities have dealt with this.
